Make sure the Limit toggle is off, and then the Delete Photos action will get to work. In the Find Photos action make sure that the album you select is Recents. It uses two actions: Find Photos and Delete Photos. It can be a bit slower depending on how large your photos library is, the Delete Photos action takes time to churn through everything. This second method involves using a shortcut. Then tap the trash can at the bottom right of the screen.
